The story behind Integrity Games’ fashion ownership line

Integrity Toys is one of the companies in the market today that produces a wide range of fashionable dolls. The collections available are reminiscent of haute couture, Hollywood glamor in the golden age, and other modern fashion themes. The dolls are mostly spherically connected and each has an impressive set of lockers. Then Integrity Toys hired Jason Wu as a freelance doll clothes designer when he was still just 16 years old. Jason Wu later created an Integrity Toy line of dolls called Fashion Royalty and was later named Creative Director of Integrity Toys a year later.
The story behind the Fashion Royalty line revolves around the competition between two major cosmetics companies fighting over market shares in the European market and eventually global dominance. Then their world becomes more challenging with the entry of a third mega-corporation ready to complicate the competition. Thus, collectors of the Fashion Royalty line will be introduced to companies āWā (owned by Veronique Perrin), āVā (formed by Baroness Agnes Von Weiss), and Missima Cosmetics (headed by Nathalie Fatale).
For doll collectors with an interest in fashion and creative design, the Fashion Royalty figures will provide you with inspiration. Famous characters in this line are Veronique Perrin, Vanessa Perrin, Adele Makeda, Isha, Lucia Zed, Baroness Agnes von Weiss, Chiuri Sato, Natalia Fatale, Eugenia Perrin Frost, Darius Reid, Pierre DeFries and Francisco Leone. Jason Wu’s Fashion Royalty collection was first revealed at the February 2001 International Toy Fair in New York City. Every year there is an exciting new look for almost every character with new wardrobes in line. An accessory that should be part of every collector’s collection is the Story Card Wallet of which only 1,000 have been produced.
In 2009, the Future Perfect range was introduced with an exciting new feature. The dolls’ bodies come with a “hand-talking system” where the hands can be removed to facilitate wardrobe changes. They also came with extra hands that were put together with the accessories. In 2010, Integrity Toys launched the Foundation Dazzle collection that showcased haute couture and swinging 60s fashion for W Cosmetics’ new fashion ad campaign. The sophisticated look of this set reminds collectors of these dolls’ original inspiration, Jane Marshall.
Collectors of Jason Wu’s Royalty Fashion Doll will never stop exciting as new lines and repaints are introduced every year. Each year, there is also a collection of limited edition dolls from 180 characters to at most a thousand characters produced of a single character or design. Thus, collectors of the series will surely appreciate the exclusivity and rarity of some doll models perhaps after a decade or so.
